Testimonies

The community we went to had broken families and are hurting inside. The whole community was broken and need God. He sent us to be disciples and restore some faith. It was God’s work.
I could use the learned methods (of the Year Team) in my everyday life and also just increase my prayers for other people. God loves them too.
Rebecca, age 15

God delights in our obedience to Him. No matter what happens, whether we like it or not, God has a reason for what He does. We, as believers in Christ, need to stand united as one so that others can see the love of Jesus Christ through the way we love each other.
Darianne, age 14

In Isaiah 61:1-9 is written about ‘Trees of Justice’ To be a tree of Justice is to love the unlovable, to unbind the bound, to reach the unreachable, to find the lost, to replace sorrow with joy and fear with hope, to bring Justice and stand firm in God. Plant your roots in God’s Word -> deep roots. Bear fruit for the LORD and provide shade & protection for those who need it regardless of their past & present.
During a prayerwalk we prayed for those who wanted it, for bonds to be broken, walls to be broken, chains to be broken, doors to be opened, forgiveness, salvation & change.
Alison, age 20
